Campaign Overview

MacuDefense needed performance creative for a symptom most eye-health brands never name directly: floaters. Instead of one generic ad, we built a full AI-generated video and static campaign around it — six distinct video concepts and eight static creatives, each attacking the problem from a different angle.

The video roster spans five AI creator personas — optometrists, patients, a lifestyle creator — plus a fully animated hero spot, giving the campaign the range of a much larger production without a single traditional shoot day.

Every video and static asset was built to run independently or together, so the campaign could be tested, iterated, and scaled across placements without waiting on new production.

— A full creative campaign, generated at AI speed.

MacuDefense campaign creative
  • Challenge

Supplement ads are one of the most oversaturated categories on paid social — audiences scroll past generic "doctor recommends" ads in seconds. MacuDefense needed creative specific enough to stop that scroll, built around one under-served symptom rather than vague "eye health," and produced at a volume no single production shoot could match.

  • Cut through supplement-ad fatigue with a specific, visual symptom hook
  • Produce enough creative variety to test multiple angles at once
  • Cover a wide age and demographic range without multiple live shoots
  • Creative Strategy

We built the campaign around "floaters" as a literal, visual hook — showing the audience exactly what they already see in their own vision — then layered in three supporting angles: authority (optometrist personas explaining and myth-busting), transformation (patient-style personal stories), and craft (a fully animated spot for reach and brand memorability).

  • Led with a visual symptom hook instead of a generic health claim
  • Rotated AI personas across age, gender, and setting for broad testing coverage
  • Paired every video angle with matching static creative for full-funnel coverage
  • AI Production Workflow

Every concept starts as a written hook and script, reviewed for medical and platform-compliance tone before any generation begins. AI handles persona generation, voice, and lip-sync; our editors handle pacing, on-screen text, and the details that make a generated video feel native to the feed it's running in — not synthetic.

The Process
  • Script and hook development, written for the specific symptom and platform
  • AI persona and voice generation across multiple demographics
  • Human-led editing, captioning, and pacing for native feel
  • Static creative adapted from the same core angles for full-funnel use

Featured

The 90-Day Fix

A fully animated hero spot built around a recurring character and a small narrating "doctor" cameo. It dramatizes the frustration of living with floaters, then lands on the formula's core promise: one bottle instead of ten.

Angle: Cinematic 3D animation  ·  Hook: "The 90-Day Fix For Eye Floaters"

Reel

Ask the Optometrist

An AI optometrist persona answers a real follower question about floaters in reply-video format, using a simulated vision overlay before connecting the symptom to a deeper root cause.

Angle: Reply-to-comment, educational authority
Hook: Direct answer to a real viewer question

Reel

Don't Ignore Your Eye Floaters

Opens on the exact POV a floater sufferer sees when they look at the sky, then follows a "done being dismissed" personal narrative into a close-up ingredient explainer.

Angle: Sensory hook, problem-first
Hook: The literal visual the audience already recognizes

Reel

What Finally Worked

A younger creator, outdoors, walks through root-cause education using a body-scan style graphic before returning to the same sky visual from Ad 3 — widening the campaign to a second demographic.

Angle: Lifestyle creator, root-cause education
Hook: "What Finally Worked For My Eye Floaters"

Reel

Eye Doctor Rates Eye Floater Remedies

A myth-busting format: an AI optometrist persona rates common home remedies (starting with the pineapple/bromelain myth) before revealing a formulated alternative.

Angle: Authority-led myth-busting
Hook: Disqualifying the wrong answers first

Reel

Not My Doctor's Answer

A patient-testimonial format built around doctor-skepticism — frustration with being dismissed, a search for another way, and a product reveal on camera.

Angle: Testimonial-style personal narrative
Hook: "My doctor had no idea what he was talking about"

Static Ad Creatives

Supporting assets built from the same core angles.

Eight static creatives extend the video campaign across every placement that needs a still image — feed ads, retargeting, and product pages — each built from the same hooks and ingredient story as the videos above.
